Believing that it does indeed take a village to raise a child, Every Child Education Equity Project is committed to being part of, and the supporting the village of, the children whom it serves. It is a priority of Every Child to journey closely with and be in solidarity with those living in poverty and on the margins, those most affected by education inequities and structural racism. To this end, without distracting from our primary focus on systems change, part of our work intentionally and importantly includes:
- Thomas Terry Community Center support and partnership
- Join Hands ESL support and partnership
- Education Advocacy for individuals
- College and Career Counseling
- General legal advice, referral, and limited representation – individual cases
